Eating Healthy, Sometimes
I consider myself pretty lucky. I only tried two or three kinds of protein bars (whose remanents were promptly tossed into the trash can) before I stumbled upon the GeniSoy brand. Unlike those who package tree bark (read "Luna Nutrition for Women") and sell it as health, GeniSoy truly succeeds in combining health and taste into one yummy bar.
My favorite variety is the "Arctic Frost Crispy Chocolate Mint" flavor, with the "Fudge Brownie" a close second. These bars give me 14 grams of soy protein of my recommended 25 grams, along with 20 vitamins and minerals, selenium, vitamin E, and folic acid. Now, don't get me wrong - I'm obviously not a health freak, or I might mechanically buy what Luna is peddeling. But I like to strike a daily balance between treating myself well and, well, treating myself well. If I drink at least 8 glasses of water a day, I feel no compunction about drinking one of my favorite soft drinks (gasp! not diet!) as well.
One bar has 240 calories of which 40 are fat calories, and 4.5g total fat, along with 37g total carb. A diet bar, it isn't, however it packs a real punch with its vitamins and soy, plus it stays with me (I eat them for breakfast) from morning 'till lunch.
At about $.97 each, they're not cheap, either. But most protein bars aren't. Thankfully GeniSoy delivers on great taste and good health.

Genisoy is typically laden with hydrogenated oils and genetically engineered SOY ISOFLAVONES. This concoction is NOT a healthy food!! It is totally immersed in TRANSFATS!
READ the label ingredients. Anything with hydrogenated fats included is linked to cardiovascular disease according to Dr. Walter Willett of Harvard school of Health.

Everyones body needs a little oil. Along with the soy protein there are soybeans. I agree so does the rest of my family. The mint ones and the fudge chocolate ones are great we eat them everyday.

The Secret Life of.......
is my favorite. Why did you
reschedule it from 3:00 now
instead of 4:00? Why do you only show one episode instead of two. As much as I like Al Roker I don't enjoyhis food channel show.Any chance you can run two episodes of the secret life of...
