What are you drinking to stay cool?
When I was in Vegas last week, I spied the newly launched Starbuck’s Frappuccino juice blends. (Hard to miss since I had to pass a Starbuck’s kiosk 5 times a day to get to the elevators up to my room, but I digress…). They have 2 flavors Pomegranate and Tangerine. The juices are blended with Tazo teas rather than Starbucks coffee. They’ve also expanded their coffee Frappuccino line with the addition of Banana Coconut, Banana Mocha, and Banana Carmel. Have you tried any of these tasty creations? Do you have another favorite summer drink? Let me know!

i wish that people would quit touting overpriced and overrated coffee and it's source. whatever happened to making your own coffee and iced tea beverages? i would personally rather take the time to know what is going into my drink and controll the ingredients i put in than pay 4.75 for a additive induced burst of energy.

Peach Hi-C and dry white wine in a tall glas with lots of ice. Well-water, coffee and Diet Coke are my year 'round staples, but a peach cooler is for summer.

Blend a 16 oz. container of strawberries (frozen w/sugar added) with a cup of ice and the juice of four or five limes and zest of one. Spoon into a tall glass over ice and top with Sprite or Ginger ale...aaaaahhh! pure refreshment.

I live in south Florida and have a new Starbucks within a mile of my house. The prices for coffees are outrageous, but one of the coffee frappicinos is an absolutely great relief from Dairy Queen, and about the same price when I am coming back from the farm late in the afternoon. mgv

Beleive it or not, if you drink coffee or tea at the same temp. as the temp outside, you will get along with the heat a lot better.
Sorry that it does not work with the cold but if you make sure your head is well covered. the heat in your body does not escape as fast and as easy.

Homemade fresh-squeezed lemonade, not too sweet, but real sugar, iced-down in a metal pitcher, beads of condenation running down the side.
