Eye Candy Hits the Brain

The idea of candy making you feel better may not be new, but I’ll bet you’ve never thought of it as a way to change your thinking. Eye Candy is a lollipop that uses something called Sensory Substitution Technology to “naturally send vibrant, emotive images to your mind.” They assure it is totally legal and non-hallucinogenic, using resonators on the candy – and what appears to be a USB plug – to transmit information from the tongue to the brain and allow the mind to do one of the following, depending on your “flavor” of choice: Relax, Socialize, Assert, Meditate, Confront and Focus. Sensory appeal at its finest!

We’re having fun imagining the consequences of such an extraordinary sensory experience, especially one with no calories attached.
