The idea of candy making you feel better may not be new, but I’ll bet you’ve never thought of it as a way to change your thinking. Eye Candy is a lollipop that uses something called Sensory Substitution Technology to “naturally send vibrant, emotive images to your mind.” They assure it is totally legal and non-hallucinogenic, using resonators on the candy – and what appears to be a USB plug – to transmit information from the tongue to the brain and allow the mind to do one of the following, depending on your “flavor” of choice: Relax, Socialize, Assert, Meditate, Confront and Focus. Sensory appeal at its finest!
We’re having fun imagining the consequences of such an extraordinary sensory experience, especially one with no calories attached. Others must be craving them as well – as a matter of fact, Yanko Design has had such a run on the pops that the only way to get them is to email firstname.lastname@example.org for availability.
Until they get their stock replenished, you might need to think about yoga.
