The Food Channel Photography Cited for Best Use of Photography

The Food Channel was honored as a finalist in the competition for Best Use of Photography. Creative Director and Chief Photographer David Nehmer was elated to learn the news. “Nothing brings food to life like a great photograph,” he said. “At The Food Channel, we try to bring the entire food experience to life and create an emotional connection with our readers. Our tremendous chefs, the writers, everybody on the team. If we do everything right, we hope you’ll want to lick the computer screen—or at least be inspired to try the recipe,” Nehmer said. “It’s exciting to be recognized for what you love to do,” he added.

Announcing the awards was Samir Arora, chairman and CEO of Glam Media. “Glam Media is very proud to be working with such a talented group of publishers and we consider it an honor to recognize their achievements,” he said.
