February Is a Chocolaty Month
Lots going on this month. We kicked it off, fittingly, with an all-star lineup of recipes for the Big Game (Congrats to the Saints!), and now Cupid is drawing back his bow as Valentine’s Day approaches. We cooked up a V-Day menu meant to warm the hearts of your “typical male,” then turned to thoughts more feminine: chocolate. Be sure to check out our life-lessons-drenched-in-chocolate video: Things I’ve Learned from Chocolate—it’ll activate your sweet tooth for sure. And become a kid in a candy store again by joining our tour of the amazing Candy House. Don’t forget to make a regular stop on our home page to check out our Raves & Faves Featured Restaurant. Our faves from our tour stops in Las Vegas and Los Angeles are profiled in depth with lots of tasty food photography.
Covering Shows from Coast to Coast
The Food Channel was in San Francisco last month to cover the 35th Winter Fancy Food Show, and had the opportunity to assist in judging the top trends at the show—here are some of the top trends we spotted there. Later this month, we’ll be heading to Orlando, Fla., to provide on-the-scene coverage of COEX, the Chain Operators Exchange sponsored by the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association. All the big restaurant chains will be on hand, and The Food Channel will also be among the presenters at COEX 2010, which gets underway February 28.
