Grilling It All Up for Dear Ol' Dad

Father's Day is June 19

What red-blooded American dad doesn’t love a meal cooked out on the grill?

Whether you grill with gas or charcoal, it just makes sense to cook up some of Dad’s all-time favorite foods over the coals on his special day of the year. Because, while Mom loves to be taken out to dinner on Mother’s Day, we believe most dads would rather kick back at home and enjoy a smoking good dinner grilled outdoors on Father’s Day.

Now, if Dad’s the type who takes complete ownership of the grill and wants to man the tongs himself, that’s okay. We suggest you just make things really easy for him by doing all the prep work, table setting and clean up to make the day as special as possible even if he decides to take on the grill duties himself.

Here are some of our grilled recipe favorites hand-picked to please Pop on his big day. Just click on the red type to check out the recipe.

For the Carnivorous Dad

Black Pepper Rubbed Ribeye with Roquefort Butter. Ribeye steak is considered by many a beefeater to be the king of all steaks, and this is the day to treat Dad like a king. Adding this indulgent butter sends this steak over the top into the realm of the unforgettable.

Citrus Grilled Chicken Breasts. Marinated in lemon and black pepper, and grilled to perfection. The fresh lemon juice not only flavors the chicken beautifully, it also helps to tenderize the meat.
