The Food Channel has a short form series called “Path to a Chef.” It was born out of our travels and the many great chefs we meet along the way. Because we are interested in how these chefs got started, we thought you might be, too. Nothing too long and involved—just a short snippet that might inspire you along your own path.
We’ve heard stories of sitting at their grandmother’s table, watching her cook. We’ve heard stories of culinary school, and of hard knocks restaurant life. Our latest in the series is from Chef Matt King, National Director of Culinary Development & Corporate Chef for Smith & Wollensky. Watch this video to hear about the first time he made a family dinner. And then click through to watch more of the series!
