Taco Bell Asks: Why Pay More?

Taco Bell is throwing its hat into the value menu ring with the new 79-89-99 Why Pay More menu that will feature four new items for under a dollar.

The 79-89-99 Why Pay More value menu will include:

  • Cheesy Double Beef Burrito, featuring Taco Bell’s flavored seasoned beef, Mexican rice and melted nacho cheese sauce in a flour tortilla for 89 cents
  • Big Taste Taco, featuring seasoned beef, lettuce, crunchy Red Strips, cheddar cheese and creamy jalapeno sauce in a flour tortilla for 99 cents
  • Triple Layer Nachos for 79 cents
  • Melted Three-Cheese RollpUp for 79 cents

“As a leader in value innovation, our 79-89-99 Why Pay More value menu completely reframes value for quick service restaurant customers,” said David Ovens, chief marketing officer for Taco Bell Corp.

The menu will also be promoted in a national marketing campaign that will include multiple television spots, radio spots, new packaging, online advertising and an interactive microsite.
