Making compound butters is so easy—and can create such a special taste experience. This recipe makes a topping that’s ideal for adding fabulous flavor to corn on the cob, baked potatoes or many other vegetables.

Why try? There aren’t many recipes that are so simple, yet can do so much to ramp up the taste of so many things.

Foodie Byte: For extra spice, try adding a sprinkle of Tabasco or Frank’s Redhot.
