Pomegranate Martini

Pomegranate Martini

Orange flavored vodka adds a bright accent of citrus flavor to this pomegranate martini.

Why try? Hey, pomegranate is good for you, right?

Foodie Byte: We used Grey Goose L’Orange Flavored Vodka in this recipe, Cointreau orange flavored liqueur can also be used.

 

Ingredients

  • Fresh orange slice for rim
  • Superfine sugar for rim
  • 1 ounce orange vodka
  • 1 ounce pomegranate syrup (recipe link in "Additional Info")
  • 1/2 ounce pomegranate juice
  • Pomegranate seeds for garnish

Preparation

    Run 1 orange slice generously around rim of chilled martini glass to moisten. Invert glass and press into plate filled with superfine sugar to evenly coat rim.

    Pour 1 ounce orange vodka, 1 ounce pomegranate molasses and 1/2 ounce pomegranate juice into cocktail shaker filled with ice.

    Shake until chilled. Strain into sugar rimmed martini glass. Garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds. Makes 1 martini.
