All the flavor and fun of a retro-inspired drug store counter ice cream soda—done fresh and contemporary with scoops of frosty fruit sherbet and colorful fizzy pure cane sugar soda.

Why try? What could be more refreshing than a frosty cold sherbet float? This quick & easy recipe is sure to be a crowd pleaser at your next get-together.

Foodie Byte: For this recipe we used Jones Pure Cane Sugar Soda, including Green Apple, Berry Lemonade, Blue Bubble Gum and Cream Soda paired with lemon, red raspberry, orange, lime and Sicilian orange-flavored sherbet. Get creative with your own colorful sherbet float flavor combinations!

 

Ingredients

  • 4 bottles ice cold soda
  • 8 (2-oz.) scoops sherbet
  • - sweetened whipped cream
  • -maraschino cherries

Preparation

    Fill each glass ⅓ full with soda; top each with 2 scoops sherbet. Slowly fill glass with soda.

    Garnish each sherbet float with whipped cream and a cherry, if desired.
