Baked French Toast
Ingredients
- 8 slices bread, cubed
- 2 eight ounce packages cream cheese, cubed
- 1 dozen eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
Baked French Toast is an easy make-ahead recipe for that special breakfast, brunch or dinner.
This can be made the night before, covered and refrigerated, to just pop into the oven when needed.

Preparation
- Grease 9x13 pan.
- Place half of the bread in the greased pan; place cream cheese on top of bread.
- Cover with remaining bread cubes.
- Beat eggs, salt and milk and pour over top.
- Pour syrup over top.
- If not heating immediately, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate over night.
- Otherwise, bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with strawberries (or other fruit) and additional syrup to taste.
