Blueberry Secret Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 cups blueberries
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
This recipe could hardly be simpler. Water…sugar… blueberries. Combine and you’ve got a fabulous sauce for pancakes, ice cream, cheesecake and more.
Why Try? Why? Because it’s so easy, and it makes such a terrific topping.
Foodie Byte: You’ve got to try with a jigger of Gin – add 2 ounces of Gin to this simple syrup recipe, serve over ice cream and you’ll taste a little piece of heaven!
Preparation
- Mix the water and sugar in saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Boil for 3 minutes.
- Add the blueberries. Stir gently.
- Let cool and serve.
