This classic nutty-sweet topping creates a truly sublime ice cream experience.

Why Try? This sauce adds just the right amount of sweetness and crunch to plain vanilla ice cream. It creates kind of an “adult ice cream sundae.”

Foodie Byte: This sauce is best when poured warm over ice cream. Serve immediately.

Preparation

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat combine brown sugar, evaporated milk, and butter. Cook and stir until sauce is smooth, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in vanilla extract and pecans.
  3. Serve warm over ice cream.
