Dr. Ruby's Citrus Smoothie


  • 2-3 kale leaves
  • 1 large ripe mango, with skin and cut into chunks
  • 1 banana (optional)
  • 1 orange or tangerine
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 2/3 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 3/4 cup water or coconut water (more for thinner smoothie)
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne powder (optional)

This smoothie is cleansing and packed full of nutrients to help you with digestion and more! It's packed full of vitamin C and used hemp seeds to really add the extra healthy factor in. If you're in a hurry, this smoothie makes the perfect sweet and healthy breakfast.

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender, starting with leafy greens.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve immediately.
