Honey Ham and Cheddar Panini
Ingredients
- 16 ounces spiral sliced ham (or deli sliced ham)
- 8 slices Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup country Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 8 slices country-style white bread
- 8 strips thick-sliced peppered bacon, cooked crisp
- 4 romaine lettuce leaves, small (optional)
- 8 slices Roma tomato (optional)
- 1/2 cup thin sliced red onion (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
This hearty sandwich features smoky-sweet spiral sliced ham, Cheddar cheese, crisp peppered bacon and country Dijon honey mustard piled on thick-sliced country bread. It’s Panini grilled until golden, served with lettuce, tomato and red onion.

Preparation
- Combine country Dijon mustard, honey and mayonnaise in bowl and whisk to blend. Reserve.
- Arrange 4 slices bread on work surface; top evenly with sliced ham, Cheddar cheese, bacon and Dijon honey mustard sauce.
- Close sandwiches with top slices of bread.
- Brush outer surfaces of sandwiches with melted butter.
- Press in Panini grill set on medium-high heat until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Open each sandwich and add lettuce, tomato and red onion.
- Close sandwiches and slice diagonally in half.
