A platter of perfectly cooked large shrimp piled up with fresh lemon slices served with bright and zesty homemade seafood sauce.

Why Try? Give up on buying the over-packaged and sometimes over-priced ring of shrimp cocktail in your local grocer’s freezer case. Make your own cocktail sauce with a few simple ingredients and buy the shrimp separately.

Foodie Byte: Purchase frozen precooked bag of peeled and deveined shrimp at your local club store or buy fresh shrimp from your local seafood counter and they will usually steam for you for free.

Preparation

  1. In mixing bowl, combine chili sauce, prepared horseradish, Worcestershire and lemon juice; taste and adjust horseradish and lemon to your preference. Transfer to serving bowl and chill.
  2. Arrange shrimp on large serving platter with fresh lemon slices. Serve with chilled sauce.
