SPAM Pinwheels

Ingredients

  • 1 (1-pound) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 (7-ounce) can SPAM® Classic, cubed
  • 2 cups (8-ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped pepperoncini

Preparation

  1. Roll bread dough out on lightly floured surface to 12-inch square. Brush pizza sauce over bread dough.
  2. Sprinkle SPAM®, cheese, and pepperoncini over dough. Roll dough, jellyroll fashion; pinch seam to seal (do not seal ends.) Cut roll into 16 slices.
  3. Place slices, cut side down, on greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise in warm place 45 minutes.
  4. Heat oven to 350°F. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately with pizza sauce.
