Last week it was chef-delivered delicacies in beautifully decorated restaurants, in one of the most alive cities in the world. This week it’s granola bars at my desk. I pick last week.
We wanted to find something different in our final day in Las Vegas. We did. Boy, did we.
We each do what we do. In the case of each of our restaurants, across the board, they serve. Their natural bent is toward hospitality. On Day 6 of our Raves & Faves tour, we found three restaurants that demonstrate that hospitality in very different ways.
On Day 5 of our Raves & Faves restaurant tour of Las Vegas, we found people with really interesting “back stories.” They don’t come out easily—these are hospitable people who usually make it all about their customer, not about themselves.

This blog is not coming to you from the kitchen office. No, this time it’s coming to you from the 6th floor of a hotel room in Las Vegas. The room is strewn with menus, shooting schedules, release forms, camera battery packs, light kits and file folders.
Don’t tell my husband that he can get a chicken meal for $1. Especially not on a night when he is trying to do something nice for me. It all started back when Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) introduced its grilled chicken and gave it away for free.
