One of the most talked about trends in food revolves around Umami, the fifth element of taste. That’s exactly what this product embraces. Soy Salt means no more soupy soy sauce that turns your food brown. The manufacturing process makes use of freeze-drying, like instant coffee, after which the product is ground into a fine powder. Soy salt comes in four different flavors: a light taste, a heavier taste made from three-year-aged soy sauce, red pepper and garlic, and onion and garlic. Available online from Kamebishi.
